There's not really any big payoff to having a #1 pick in fantasy sports because it's not like you're going to use the pick on some sort of undiscovered superior talent to get one over on your opponents. Everyone who gets drafted that early is pretty much a known quantity. At that point, you're just determining whether you want to use a pick that high on a pitcher (i.e. the best pitcher) or feel like going with whoever is the most productive offensive player of the day.maddinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08493650721714521989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8774694844210394599.post-59238618643074214942014-05-29T19:01:06.159-05:002014-05-29T19:01:06.159-05:00Who is John Gant?Who is John Gant?Chunterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05202917826458943805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8774694844210394599.post-4568160317636565062014-05-29T13:18:55.285-05:002014-05-29T13:18:55.285-05:00I listen to the radio on the way too and from work...I listen to the radio on the way too and from work, but only sports talk radio. They don't play a lot of music on there.

It seems like it's more rare than it should be to get the first pick in a league, because everyone you talk to is like, "I never get the first pick! It's balogna!" But if no one ever gets the first pick, how does that even work? Probability would suggest that you have a 1-in-12 chance at the first pick in standard leagues, but it seems like the first pick really only comes around once every 25 times you draft. Maybe a small group of Yahoo! staffers have hacked their way into getting most of the #1 picks across all fantasy leagues.RAZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17519699812373438878noreply@blogger.com
