Got lot of variety from various years. 1/6 of it contains 8 different Michael Finley. It's also interesting look at the team as the pack started from their peak of 80s era to their down years to a rebuilt playoff contender.
The set labeled 1995-96 Upper Deck is actually 1995-96 SP.
ReplyDeleteThat's actually a pretty good mix of the team's history. I've gotten an occasional wrong card in repacks but two in a team specific repack is laughable! I'm guessing somebody just saw the blue on Breuer's jersey and slid it into the wrong stack. I've added about 100 cards to my collection from other sports mixed into basketball repacks over the years.
Pretty good to see a rookie card of a hall of famer in this pack.
ReplyDeleteAs Billy said, the blue on that Wolves uni does look like the Mavs...AND the green trim on the card is pretty much the same shade as Mavs green. Not surprised someone looked at it and thought it was a Dallas card.
ReplyDeleteSome good cards and great memories. I like the Ro Blackmon art card and Jim Jackson. I always liked Michael Finley as well. Tarpley was a beast before he ran afoul of the law. Fun post. Thanks
