You like die cuts? What about "Laser-cuts?" Inserts are very few and far between, but check these puppies out.
#64 - Mark Wohlers - There are only four different styles of cuts in the packs. Not surprisingly, this one is for the pitchers.
#45 - Chipper Jones - All the white space you see on the newly retired Braves star is where the laser cuts took place. This design is the most minimal. I don't know what the funky foil on the bottom is about.
#30 - Mike Stanley - Then we have this one. Half gold with sunshine going up the rear end. There's a very comic book feel to these cuts.
You'll get to see the front in my Series 2 review up next in the re-cap-a-thon.

Topps needs to bring back some of these 90's/2000's sets. A modern Laser set is something I'd probably collect.
I think this set was really Topps trying to emulate Pacific. Sadly, once Pacific was gone, Topps no longer felt the need to make interesting sets like this.
