2024 Panini Prestige Value Pack

Greetings!

Hope everyone is doing well.  Yes, baseball season and March Madness is upon us, but I had taken pictures of this pack of football cards with the intention of posting a little after the Super Bowl.  Then life got in the way, and we zoomed past the NBA All Star Game and the 4 Nations Tournament.  All while my post was sitting in drafts.

But hey, better late then never, right?  It's a Value Pack of Prestige!

You get 30 cards for 7 bucks.  Let's see what I got:

#174 - Kyren Williams
#169 - Derwin James Jr.
#164 - Justin Herbert
#159 - Maxx Crosby

It's the first NFL Prestige pack posted here since 2017.  That pack was in full color.  Here the backgrounds are black and white.  Not sure if that works out for those specific Raiders uniforms...it's Maxx's floating head!

#154 - Gardner Minshew II
#149 - Chris Jones
#235 - Darrelle Revis
#230 - Garrett Wilson

Gardner shows up a little better here.  It's a nice, clean design, even though I'm not a fan of the Prestige at the bottom.  The script names can also be hard to read at times.

#225 - Brian Burns
#220 - Daniel Jones
#215 - Carl Granderson
#210 - Derek Carr

Daniel Jones moved on the Giants and signed with Indy, where he'll compete with Anthony Richardson to be the main man.

#205 - Christian Gonzalez
#11 - Bijan Robinson
#34 - Micah Hyde
#91 - Patrick Surtain II

I wonder why some players use a "II" after their name, instead of "Jr."  Apparently there's a reason, although I don't know if it applies to Patrick's case.

#49 - Roschon Johnson
#7 - Dennis Gardeck
#65 - Ken Anderson
#23 - Derrick Henry

Nice to see Ken Anderson amongst the legends.

#324 - Darius Robinson (RC)
#364 - Leonard Taylor III (RC)
#315 - Terrion Arnold (RC)
#355 - Malachi Corley (RC)

There's 400 cards in the set, with cards 301 through 390 being Rookies and cards 391 through 400 being the Short-Printed Rookies.  Want to see the checklist?  Here you go.

#106 - Jordan Love
#358 - Ja'Tavion Sanders (RC)

These must be the promised Sunburst parallels.  Bursting indeed!

#9 - CeeDee Lamb (Time Stamped)
#13 - James Cook (Prestigious Pros)
#14 - Amari Cooper/Jerry Jeudy/John Metchie III (Alma Maters)
#14 - Tyree Wilson (Youth Movement)

Inserts are found in the back.  Time Stamped has 10 cards, while Prestigious Pros and Alma Maters consists of 25 cards.  There are 20 cards in the Youth Movement insert.  As usual, Panini doesn't tell us the odds.

Here's some backs, just because:

Anyway, that's the pack.  Apologies for the delay in posting.  Trying my best to get on some sort of schedule with these.  Enjoy the week everyone, and thanks for reading!

2023-24 Panini NBA Sticker Collection (European)

We're back again with another packet of stickers. This one is from a much more recent release than the last post, and should look very similar to last summer's post about the 2023-24 Panini NBA Stickers set. The primary difference here is that, for the European release, there isn't a full-size card included and each sticker back has a different design than the US release.

85 - Bilal Coulibaly - Coulibaly has put together a nice second season so far and I've even used him a bit as a stopgap on my fantasy team. Hey, fantasy relevance in your second year isn't too bad!

266 - Montrezl Harrell - I don't think Harrell is in the league anymore, but there's a fairly sizable group of professional players who bounce around from league to league in different countries only to show back up again in the NBA after a few years.

370 - Jarred Vanderbilt

171 - Evan Mobley - Mobley has taken a big leap in his fourth season, notching his first All-Star appearance with the team with the league's best record. He also seems to have the inside track on Defensive Player of the Year.

215 - Kevin Love - Love has been more of a role-player for years now.

Here's what the sticker backs look like. The US release advertises Panini's digital blockchain product, while this one is plainer looking.
