1975 Topps Wanted Posters
As my quest to find weird packs we haven't opened yet continues, I bring you 1975 Topps Wanted Posters. I know absolutely NOTHING about these. When I saw the pack, I knew I had to have it. Unfortunately, my self-imposed photoshop disaster (below) appears a bit weird.
There was one (1) poster in the pack. It is HUGE: 9.5 inches by 18 inches:
The poster is so big, I had to scan it in three sections. I used Photoshop Elements (a VERY old version, btw) to kinda sew things together. In retrospect, a panoramic stitching program might have worked better. Oh well, I did it "by hand," so I'm sure I get points for that.
The only actualy stain on the thing was from the dozen or so bits of gum that bled through (upper left of boy's head). The sidebar "stains" are remnants from my not-so-handiwork stitching things together.
I love that you get to fill in the blank. I say fill it in, frame it, and give it to that special someone for their birthday.

These were also issued as standard-sized stickers in 1975, I bought a bunch as a kid and have been meaning to share them at some point. I don't remember ever seeing the posters.
From the research I've done, it seems like they were originally issued as posters in 1968, and the 1975 set was more-or-less a reissue.
Very cool stuff! Reminds me of the OPC WHA posters from the early 70's.
Awesome. Love vintage oddball items.
