2020 Topps Big League Baseball Rack Pack

I ended up stopping by my Target this afternoon hoping that there might be a Series 2 sighting.  Alas there was none, and that wasn't unexpected, but there were a few rack packs of Big League.  I've watched a few box opening and really liked the base design and decided I might try to put the set together.  So I  grabbed a few packs and this was the best one.  Let's have a look at the 30 cards included in this pack.

Here's a good look at the base design, with wunderkind Bo Bichette.

And here's a quick look at the rest of the base in the pack.

The nice think about the rack packs is you get just about one of every insert.  First up is Flipping Out.

 Next Defensive Wizards

And finally the Sketch Reproduction insert.  Big Heads!

You also get 3 orange parallels per pack. Getting an Alvarez surely doesn't suck.

And if getting decent players in the inserts and orange parallel I also beat the odds pulling this Opening Act auto of Bobby Bradley.

This is my favorite set of 2020 so far and probably will be regardless of something unforeseen.
The Kiermaier card is on another level with that photo selection. The star on the wall behind him is like something out of a comic book!

Love the base card design... especially the landscape action shots. The Defensive Wizards and Star Caricature inserts remind me of something Panini would have produced... which isn't really my cup of tea. The Flipping Out insert set has some potential. It kind of reminds me of a 90's insert. I just wish that the photograph was zoomed out a little more so you can see the actual bat being flipped.

Fun product indeed! I'm glad we both have had good luck busting some packs thus far.

I have only opened a few of the fat rack packs but I really like the 2020 Big League cards. Some of the best pictures on cards in a long time. Are you willing to trade the Perez orange border and Bobby Bradley autograph? I am a huge Indians fan/collector. You can email me steeltim1202(at)gmail(dot)com

The tie on that Verlander. It looks like that card could have come from 1967. (not a complaint)
