2016 Bowman Baseball Hobby

This year's Bowman looks surprisingly, or not, like last years Topps Football.  I'm not a huge fan of Bowman mainly because of the dual sets.  I understand why Topps has to do the prospects set like it does, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.  But if you love prospects and prospecting Bowman is the set for you.  Plus a lot of times Bowman is the only place to find cards of some players in MLB uniforms.  These players might never have another card or could turn out to the next Mike Trout or Kris Bryant.  I ended up picking up a couple hobby packs from Don's the last time I stopped in.  None of the packs were that exciting.

Although not stated on the pack you get two Chrome cards.  Which seems pointless since Topps puts out a Bowman Chrome later in the year.  Seems like one or the other isn't really needed.

My lone insert is this International Ink.

There are a few sets that Topps puts out that end up being redundant.. Heritage and Archives.. I feel A&G and Gypsy Queen are redundant..

The Bowman chrome inserts definitely fit that redundant category
