1994 Marvel Masterpieces - Hildebrant Brothers

Another quarter pack I picked up at Don's Sportcards here in Anchorage, Alaska.  The only one he had sitting in the box and I couldn't resist.  I don't remember ever opening any of this back in '94 so lets go.
Every pack comes with a gold signature parallel and a pretty good chance of pulling one of the foil insert cards.

Here's my gold signature card.
And I lucked out and pulled a gold holofoil Daredevil card.

1995 Topps Stadium Club High Number Series

I stopped in to Don's Sportcards here in Anchorage a few days ago and he still had a big box of quarter packs. I grabed 7 of these 1995 Stadium Club High Number packs, packs I don't ever remember ripping.  There are a couple inserts to hunt for.

Not my favorite Stadium Club design, but still a very nice full bleed design.

As state on the wrapper each pack comes with two foil enhanced Trans Action and Extreme Corp cards.  Not inserts, but sub-sets of the main set.

Out of the 7 packs I only manage one of the 1:24 inserts, but it's by far the best one out of  Crystal Ball checklist and more than covered the $1.75 I spent on the packs.

2019 Topps Archives Baseball Hobby Pack

Did my after work Thursday stop into Don's Sportcards here in Anchorage.  He's got a huge selection of junk wax he recently picked up and lots of other goodies floating around the shop right now.  I also picked up a sample pack of this year's Topps Archives.  This year's set features players on the 1958, 1975 and 1993 designs.

Here are the pack odds and NPN address.
Let's have a look at the cards.  I will say I got a Tigers hot pack.  First up the 58's.

The 1975.  I will say it's kind of cool to see Cobb on the 1975 design.  My biggest peeve with the set is they included my all time favorite player Robin Yount again, but put him in the 1993 design, a set he was featured in as an active player.  It would have been neat to see him on the 1958 design.  Ahem.

If you're counting that's 3 Tigers in the pack of 8 cards.
 The 93's.

 Fergie!

I also managed to beat the odds, especially since I literally only bought one pack to try out.  And hit one of these Expo's 50th Anniversary autos.  They're not all that rare.  As a matter of fact I think they're the most common auto in the set falling 1:54 packs.
