As someone who once lived and breathed wrestling in my childhood (the "Attitude" Era of WWE, and the... well, the Goldberg and Sting Era of WCW) I am always keeping an eye out for the newest wrestling products. Topps' WWE products don't tend to be hobby-oriented but I couldn't help but pick up a box of these at Wal-Mart today.
For most of the years in which my interest was highest in the WWE, women didn't do much wrestling. There were a few standout, talented ladies who had great matches (Lita, Ivory, and Chyna come to mind) but women's "matches" on big events usually consisted of nightgowns and bikini contests.
Fortunately, the Divas Revolution is upon us and the women are allowed to actually wrestle, and some of the finest female wrestlers in the world are on the WWE roster, including Ric Flair's daughter Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Hart Dungeon veteran Natalya, and many others. This product highlights the great ladies of wrestling from yesterday, today, and tommorow.
