After getting a chance to see these cards in person I'm having a change of heart about the set. Although some of the ticket/relic combinations look like someone vomited on a card I like these base a lot. If only Topps had dekel cut the top and bottoms on all the cards like they did on my Mat Latos card from this pack then I could get on board nearly completely. Plus, 12 cards in a pack is a nice value. #185 James Shields

The base cards look decent, but does someone like Magglio Ordonez really belong on a "Ticket to Stardom" card? Either you think he's a star or you don't... he's not likely to change your mind at this point in his career.
