1995 Score Summit

Summit is one of those things that I missed during my time away from collecting, which lasted for more than a decade. I'm not sure how long it was around and I'm not sure what the price point was, but it seems like it might have been a premium line for Score/Pinnacle. These cards are quite a bit thicker than your average Score card, but aside from some extra gold foil, these don't seem all that dissimilar from a regular Score design.

144 - Chad Mottola

66 - Terry Steinbach

124 - Mark Grudzielanek

81 - Bernard Gilkey (Nice to get a Cardinal.)

26 - Mark Grace (Wow, nice uniforms, Cubs. Grace looks like he plays for a minor league team.)

119 - Jose Oliva

42 - Andres Galarraga (I'm still bitter that Galarraga was dreadful in his stop in St. Louis, only to raise his average by about 10,000 points by the time he hit Colorado. It must have been that Rocky Mountain air.)

Man, I bought A LOT of Summit way back when... My card shop had bought a ton of it and by '97 he was selling the leftover boxes for like 7 bucks. I grabbed a box a week till it was gone. I think I finished that set 10 times over... Memories...

Chad Mottola is one of those players I keep getting out of packs.
