Sweet Swatch Memorabilia: SS-AJ: Adam Jones
This is the second retail tin of Sweet Spot that I've ever purchased (the other was a 2008 tin). In each case, my "hit" was less than inspiring...and it made me mad that I wasted 30 bucks. Fool me once Upper Deck, shame on you. Fool me twice and you'll never do it again - no more retail Sweet Spot for me, ever.

Those tins stare back at me every time I'm in that store and each time I tell them, "maybe one day ..."
But I'm fortunate that I have the blogs to tell me to stay away from this stuff. It's bad news.
Our local Target has 3 of them right now.I have yet to give in, but it is tempting! Actually,I would just like one of the tins!!
Owl, I actually picked one up one day.....and put it back down on the shelf in favor of 20 of A&G goodness (chutley jersey enclosed) I hate to pile on, but man, glad it wasn't me.
Baseball Dad: Remind me next time we trade and I'll ship your cards in the tin I got... I have last year's tin sitting in my closet somewhere too...I don't do anything with 'em!

I've looked at those so many times...and every time I think of posts like this one and walk away.
I'd buy one if they were $10... maybe. Actually, probably not. Unless I knew for certain that the Pujols card was inside, I guess.
I need someone to do this for the SP Game Used basketball tins so I don't have to be the guy that finds out how crappy they are and warn the internets to stay away...
I will take that less-than-inspiring Adam Jones off your hands if you want to give it up
