2009 Goodwin Champions Retail

I always thought 2009 Goodwin Champions was a cool set.

I don't think I ever broke any hobby packs of this, but I definitely broke some retail. I always had that feeling I was about to strike gold in one of these packs but never did. Lets see what this one offers.

One of those things with Goodwin Champs, much like A&G, is you are going to run into some non-baseball in just about every pack. Here is a cool Alex Ovechkin card.

My Worst Pack Of '09 Goodwin Champions

This pack came from a $5 repackage and I literally thought to myself "well, no matter how bad those other packs are at least I'll get a mini." Well, after opening the pack, I was shorted a card which was, of course, the mini. Argh!

The retail version has a price point of $1.99 for four cards [three regular size and one mini] which was $1.50 cheaper for one fewer card versus the Hobby version [four regular size and one mini]...so if you are a set builder, go retail.
